One of the first serious operators to establish land tours on Christmas Island, I have been operating tours for over 17 years, developing and supporting group tourism and selling packages to the Australian Indian Ocean Islands for over 25 years. I have been based on the island for over 26 years and proudly call myself a local.
Our team includes our Perth-based senior consultant, Sue Warner. Sue has been in the travel industry for 30 years and has been specialising in selling packages to Christmas & Cocos (Keeling) Islands for over 8 years.
Sue is an avid diver and regularly visits the islands to partake in the spectacular diving experiences they offer. Couldn't do a trip to Christmas Island with out these guys I travelled to Christmas Island in May 2016 for the Christmas Island Tourism Association, they had Lisa organise many aspects of the trip and it couldn't have been more perfect. Lisa showed us many places that are less visited or harder to find as well as catering for some of our meals.
I'm going to be taking small photo tours to Christmas Island in the future and wouldn't dream of doing it without engaging Indian Ocean Experiences' services.

Perfect trip Lisa was a great organiser, gave her the whole project - flights, hotel, transfers & tour, and had an amazing experience. Should have accepted her recommendation of a rental car but their island tour made up in some way for my omission.

Amazing Tour An amazing Nature Tour with Lisa Preston. Saw lots of robber crabs & red crabs on our way to see the Blow Holes, Margaret Knoll and the Dales. Lisa even prepared delicious biscuits, coffee & tea for us. A memorable time sipping coffee in the light drizzle at the Blow Holes, together with a lovely couple from Sweden & 3 friendly guys from China! Christmas Island is simply AWESOME!

Swim with WhaleSharks and Dolphins On the day after the famous red crab migration my son and I joined Hama on his boat to go snorkelling and search for WhaleSharks. Our intrepid captain was enthusiatic searcher for items of interest and he showed us excellent snorkelling places. Highlight was the sighting of a WhaleShark only 20 metres from one of the snorkellers which was dramatically exciting. We found dolphins who played with us in the water jumping and corkscrewing in front of us. Thoroughly recomended

Amazinggggg I was so lucky to have done a day tour today into Dolly's Beach /Greta Beach my Guide Lisa Preston was the most experienced Guide trekking through the jungle it is a fairly long walk to the beach the board walk stopped and started all the way there Lisa new this place with her eyes shut we did it at ease and no hurry pointed out all relevant info spotted the Robber crab in a second she defiantly knows her stuff it was awesome we sat at Dolly's having coffee and biscuits watching the Robber Crab coming to join us her driving skills impeccable gosh didn't run over a single red crab and there were hundred s of them as it had been raining the night before it was Crab heaven Lisa thank you for the best day your professional well mannered Disposition made my trip in there an absolutel delight would highly recommend Lisa

A must on your to do list.....try the tours on Christmas Island On my fisrt visit to Christmas Island, i was recommended to do some tours with Lisa Preston. I am so glad I took that advice. The orientation tour on our first day was informative and gave me a good idea of the layout of island as well as the history and led me on to do more tours of this facinating island. Lisa does several tours to include the birdlife of the islands and nature tours which get you up close to some of the large and small crabs which inhabit the island. The Hugh Dales waterfall was one of my highlights of the tours I took standing in the deserted rainforest under the fresh water fall with red crabs and robber crabs scuttling around. This island also offers great photo opportunities. I would really recommend you take a few tours with Lisa during your visit
